I’ve started entering the occasional competition, with mixed results.  I thought I would publish some of my better attempts here.  They are not all aimed at young readers, although that is where most of my WIPs are targeted, but I have enjoyed the various challenges they presented.  Some of them have been tweaked since entry, either for last minute errors spotted or because the word count meant I had to leave things out.

You will also find some random, short form pieces of writing that haven’t been entered into competitions but that I’m still quite pleased with.
